Our Mission & Experience
The idea for Aero Engineering grew out of years working on projects where unnecessary complications, avoidable costs, and poor coordination created stress for owners and teams alike. Too often, issues could have been prevented with better communication, earlier involvement, and a more practical, field-informed approach. Seeing solid projects struggle—not because of bad intent, but because of rushed decisions and disconnected teams—made it clear there was a better way to deliver engineering services.

Professional Background
Samet Ozdemir is a New York–licensed Professional Engineer and the founder of Aero Engineering PLLC. With over a decade of experience in mechanical and HVAC engineering, commissioning, MEP coordination, and code compliance, Samet brings a practical, field-driven perspective to every project he supports.
Project Experience
Throughout his career, Samet has worked across residential, commercial, healthcare, mission-critical, mixed-use, and high-rise projects throughout New York City and the surrounding regions. His exposure to mission-critical facilities—where reliability, redundancy, and performance are essential—has shaped his disciplined approach to system design, testing, and verification. This experience reinforces his focus on thorough coordination, clear documentation, and dependable system operation.
Why He Founded Aero Engineering
Aero Engineering PLLC was founded out of Samet’s desire to change a pattern he saw too often: well-intentioned projects burdened by avoidable costs, failed inspections, and delays caused by rushed decisions or fragmented coordination. He set out to build a practice where clients feel heard, expectations are clear, and technical issues are addressed thoughtfully and proactively. Samet approaches each project with the same level of care and accountability he would expect if it were his own investment.
Licenses & Certifications
Samet holds an active Professional Engineer license in New York State, is an ASHRAE Building Commissioning Professional (BCxP), a New York State–licensed Home Inspector, and works regularly under NYC and NYS Codes, ASHRAE, SMACNA, and ICC standards.
